Bringing Multiplayer to VR
BattleSky may not be the first game to bring multiplayer features to virtual reality, but it's one of the most complete examples of VR multiplayer. You can play in a number of different modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Attack and Defend, Free for All, and more. Each hero you can choose from is not just different in appearance, and skill, but also wildly different size, making for an interesting asymmetric multiplayer experience. The graphics are cartoonish in an Overwatch kind of way, indeed the developers use "like Overwatch" in their promo language. It doesn't quite reach that level of polish, however, but it looks great nonetheless. You control flight with your arms, and the control system works surprisingly well. You really do need friends (or Internet strangers) to properly enjoy this game, however. Multiplayer is where it shines.
While BattleSky VR isn't particularly original in video games generally speaking, there aren't many virtual reality games like this. It could use more heroes to choose from, perhaps more for the single players, but if you're looking for a fresh VR experience, BattleSky VR could be it.
